A tropical climate provides opportunities for strengthening interaction based on
the connectivity of common ground itself. Embracing social diversity and ‘local
space’, the conditions for physical and psychological transition and re-orienta-
tion are achieved.
Private spaces of the building are minimized and stacked in such a way as to
activate public spaces and relate them to each other. An overlapping of different
‘playgrounds’ increases the awareness of a collective identity. By this principle,
the structure generates a prototype that stands open-ended, both to further
construction and changes of use over time.
