THE KEY TO CONTROL – ENERGY MANAGEMENT APPLICATION FOR HOTEL GUESTS

Key to Control is the result of a collaborative project with Siemens Energy. By using The Thief
hotel and its current management system as its main focus, the project has designed a more
comprehensible and flexible solution for hotel guests. Using benefits from automation, and
digital solutions, the hotel guests can change the settings of their air-conditioning systems,
temperature, and lighting, from all areas in the hotel through an application on their smart-
phone. The application increases comfort and user-friendliness, and contributes to making
guests more aware of the energy efficiency system in the room.
