The walls are a link and mediator between people and nature, nature and structure. Gaps
between the walls are empty spaces directly connected to the earth. They are wide enough
for people to pass through but too narrow to live in. So these gaps are spaces made mainly
on the premises of nature. What is the thickness of this porosity? What is the hierarchy of
the forces affecting the space, the struggle between inside/outside spaces, the transitional
space and the transmission taking place in that space? These gaps explode the dense structure
and create a porosity filled with light and shadow, wind and rain. This porosity is intended
to create a greater awareness of the natural elements surrounding us due to the increased
transition between interior and exterior.
