PUBLIC BUILDING
Foundation second year
|
One semester
The project explores the relationship between nature and built structure in both organic and
strictly symmetrical terms. Public spaces such as the auditorium, the library, the canteen and dif-
ferent workshops will serve the local community in the weekends and evenings and are therefore
localized under a new horizontal landscape level towards the main access plaza. The classrooms
are placed in separate building volumes raised above the new artificial landscape, which serves
as local outdoor space for the students during the daytime. A new space for different sport activ-
ities is explored as a separate building volume to serve both the school and the local community.
