Our cultural heritage has given us many rules on how to behave while eating,
why not try something new and different? What inspired me was the idea of
playing with our conventions and challenge ourselves on how an eating experi-
ence ‘should be’. The rising pace in the society and our everyday life is resulting
in a detachment towards our food. Our food consumption is being degraded from
‘food as a total sensorial experience’ to ‘food as a source of energy’.
The idea behind my products was to accommodate a playful, sensorial food
experience – introducing bolder movements and allow visible indulgence
around the dinner table. With my product line I hope to inspire to newmindful
thinking around our behavior – and our consumption. The products should
create a sensorial and an emotional sphere, where the users eat with their heart.
