AHO WORKS STUDIES 2012-2013
Highlights
AHO Workshops organized a contest on the
use of plywood in a finished product with
lamination. The product could be a serving
bowl, a plate, a modern design object, a
model of a building part, a furniture mod-
el, an architectural model, or something
similar to these. The criteria for evaluating
the products in the running for the contest
were originality, materiality, use benefits
and manufacturing simplicity. The jury con-
sisted of Nina Bjørnstad from IDE, Magne
M. Wiggen from ARK and Roald Jenssen
from AHO Workshops. The first prize, won
by Thomas Isak Johansen “Lamp” (right),
comprised of materials and services from
AHO Workshops worth 1000 kroner.
