How to Deal With Complexity and other
Beasts
is a newbie’s guide to mapping work-
shops. The book was created in collabora-
tion with The Performance Group in Oslo,
a management consulting company. Some
of the consultants at TPG have been using
GIGA-mapping for a while, and the challenge
of the project was to make Systems Oriented
Design, and especially GIGA-mapping, acces-
sible for the rest of the consultants at TPG.
The result was a quick manual for dealing
with complexity by visualising and commu-
nicating, using different mapping techniques
like GIGA-mapping.
